Karey Rebello founded Hensley CPA Firm with a simple philosophy: accounting should do more than help clients meet deadlines—it should help them make better business decisions.
For nearly 30 years, Karey has helped business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals navigate complex financial challenges with confidence. As both a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner™, she combines technical tax expertise with strategic financial guidance to help clients improve profitability, strengthen cash flow, minimize tax liabilities, and plan for long-term success.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida, Karey became a Florida CPA in 1991 and earned her Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 1993. She began her career in international taxation, where she gained valuable experience assisting foreign tax clients before founding Hensley CPA Firm in Bonita Springs, Florida, in 1997. In 2011, Karey relocated her family and the firm to Frisco, Texas, where Hensley CPA has continued to grow into a trusted advisory firm serving businesses and individuals throughout the region.
Throughout her career, Karey has built a reputation for delivering proactive tax planning, practical business advice, and personalized client service. She believes the strongest client relationships are built on trust, communication, and a genuine commitment to understanding each client’s goals.
Karey is also a passionate advocate for her clients. Whether resolving IRS matters, navigating foreign tax issues, or helping business owners make important financial decisions, she approaches every situation with professionalism, persistence, and careful attention to detail. Her calm, approachable nature helps clients feel at ease, while her determination ensures every opportunity is explored to achieve the best possible outcome.
Beyond serving clients, Karey is an active real estate investor, speaker, and community leader. She has served on the Advisory Board of Hodges University, presented educational seminars for homeowners facing foreclosure, and remains active in the Texas Society of CPAs and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, Karey enjoys spending time with her three children, traveling and helping others through her Christian faith and community involvement.
